Houyun Coffee: We believe that stable quality is more important than anything else

In Kaohsiung, there is a small roasting studio. There are no fancy decorations, nor are there carefully designed photo spots, just two people – a father and son.

Our Story

We are Aftertone Coffee. Most of our daily work revolves around roasting beans and sharing. My father focuses on the roasting time, while I care about the flavor and the customers. Sometimes we sit down together with the customers to enjoy a cup of freshly roasted coffee and listen to their feelings. Because we believe that true good taste is not something you say yourself, but something you experience together.

Our Philosophy

We always believe that stable quality is more important than anything else. Whether a cup of coffee can be remembered does not rely on a glamorous aroma, but rather on that familiar taste that can always bring comfort.

Our Flavor

“Aftertaste” is the part we care about the most. It is the aroma that lingers on the tip of the tongue after entry, the balance that is remembered after finishing. This flavor requires time, experience, and respect for fire.

Studio Daily Life

Our studio is not big; sometimes when you come, we are just roasting beans, and sometimes we are simply brewing a pot of coffee, chatting with customers about the flavors. There is not much decoration, but there is a genuine aroma.
